Welcome

Welcome to our new website. The Cornhill Highland Games are getting ready to celebrate their 8th year. They will be held in Cornhill Playing Field, Cornhill, Aberdeenshire always on the 1st Saturday of June. The events starts at 11.00am. Several Pipe Bands will be playing at various times during the day. Your compere for the day will be Robbie Sheperd. Admission to the games will be £4.00 for adults and £2.00 for children and pensioners.

We have all of the following events: Heavyweight Championship Tug O War Open Highland Dancing Competition Pipe Band Childrens Races Track and Field Stalls and Refreshments

Track and Field will include the following events 90m, 400m, 800m, High Jump and Hop, Step and Leap. There will also be a 4 mile Adults road race and a 2 mile Junior road race.

In the evening there will be a disco held in the marquee and the grueling 8.5 mile Knock Hill race will be run.
